Meet Mrs. Beth

Mrs. Beth is a retired certified elementary teacher who spent her career helping first, second and third graders discover that reading is something they can do — and enjoy. She saw the same pattern year after year: kids who struggled weren’t missing ability, they were missing a clear explanation of one essential skill and a story worth finishing.

TutorCake is her answer. Every Reading Power Pack is written, edited and tested by Mrs. Beth herself, then illustrated with the TutorCake characters kids love: Toby the Turtle, Finn the Fox, Oliver the Otter, Rocky Raccoon, Scout the Reading Detective and RT the Reading Toolbox.
